I am an American. I love this country and it's people. It hurts me to see Americans spout hate towards each other because they don't agree on political positions.

I live and have lived in a lot of different situations. I consider myself a free thinker. I observe a lot of inconsistencies. My friends are a very wide range of class and politics. They are all pretty good people, left, right, or whatever.

I get very alienated with the PCism of it all.. It really doesn't matter if it is left or right, liberal or conservative, if you don' step inline to "Party Politics" you must be the enemy.

Reality and solutions are neither conservative or liberal. Personally I find liberal and conservative principles not good enough by themselves. I use both concepts and others to get things done.

I find the words conservative, liberal, and socialism to be almost meaningless in our national conversation. Those words mean about as much as a name of a football team. It is amazing the picking and choosing of data and ideas that is done to support our teams positions.

It's like socialism. Most people screaming about socialism are socialists, They collect all kinds of money and entitlements, they believe it is not socialism if the money flows towards them. They earned it. If it goes to some other group it is socialism. They didn't earn it or stole it.

Or States Rights, if I want my state to have it's own way, I am for States Rights ,unless I want my way to be law across the nation. ie: We all want gun control to not be federal. We all want our CCL to be federally recognized.
